Step 16: Clear to Close

At least three days prior to closing, we will receive the “Clear to Close” from your mortgage lender and underwriter.  â€śClear to Close” means that the lenders and underwriters have looked at all of the paperwork, your bank accounts, etc. and have fully approved the loan.  When we are given the “Clear to Close” we can move forward with the closing and we know that they will fund the purchase of your new home.
