Step 4: Professional Photography
Your home is getting closer to going on the marker. A last step is professional photography. You will be notified a few days in advance when the appointment will happen. The photographer will take about an hour to complete their job. You can be, but not required that you need to be home. Professional photos are included as part of the service we provide to you.
Here are some tips for great photos:
- Remove any pets from the home or put them in a crate during the photography appointment. Also hide any pet beds, bowls, toys, etc
- Make your bed
- Put all dishes away
- Turn on all lights and make sure all light bulbs are working
The photographer may move a few things in your home to get the very best shot. We apologize in advance if you come home to find a few things out of place, but we want you to have the very best photographs to sell your home.
We often photograph amenities (e.g., neighborhood signs, pools, parks, exercise rooms, or parking garages in condos). Let us know if there is anything in particular you want to make sure we photograph.
The photographer usually takes 24-48 hours to prepare the pictures. We will load the photos before your listing goes 'LIVE' in the MLS.
